Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 cup water
1 tsp anise seed
1/4 tsp ginger
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp honey
1 tsp splenda

Combine ingredients in small pan. Bring to boil, lower heat, simmer for 5 minutes. Strain. Serve hot in cups.
This tea is often used to comfort sore throats and chest colds.
