Mashed Mock Potato with Minced Meat - Patates Poureme Kima

5/8 kilogram pork -- minced 10oz
1/4 cup olive oil
1 small onion -- coarsely grated
salt and pepper
1 pinch ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon parsley -- finely chopped
1/4 cup dry red wine
2 tomatoes -- ripe,grated
1 kilogram cauliflower flowerets -- mashed see instr
115 grams butter -- 4oz
1 1/2 chicken bouillon cube
1/2 cup cream
1 1/2 cups Edam cheese -- grated

Fry the minced meat with the onion gently in the oil and sprinkle with salt pepper and cinnamon. Add the parsley, after some seconds the wine and then the grated tomatoes. Continue to cook until all the liquid has evaporated. Remove from heat and leave aside. Microwave the cauliflower for 8 minutes. Mash like potato, mixing in a tbsp of butter , cream and a little salt and pepper. Add chicken stock cube and place over heat. Gradually pour in the cream, stirring constantly. Lay half of the cauliflower mix in the bottom of a casserole dish. spread the meat mixture over and cover with the remaining cauli mix. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a moderate oven 350F-180C for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
