1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup water -- mix with sauce
1 1/2 lb ground beef -- 750g
1/2 lb ground pork -- 250g
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup pork cracklings -- fine flakes
1 egg -- beaten
3 tbsp tomato sauce -- no sugar
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Mix all ingredients; pack in loaf pan. Bake for 2 hours at 350°F-180°C.
