1 tbsp butter
LC stuffing recipe add the carbs

A goose is generally stuffed with a sage and onion or a prune stuffing. Select LC stuffing of your choice. See recipes at www.Carb-Lite.au.com. Place in cavity and sew up bird

Place the bird in a baking tray and prick the skin with a sharp knife. Dot with the butter Put in the oven at 400°F-200°C gas mark 6 for 30 minutes. Baste the goose and lower the heat to 350°F-180°Cgas mark 4 for 1 1/2 hours for a 7-8 lb 3.5-4kg bird.
Should the breast of the bird appear to be too brown cover with foil and greaseproof paper for the remainder of the cooking period.
Garnish with holly and berrys
