450 g white fish -- 1lb skinned and
boned
1 lemon
1/4 cup butter
Salt and pepper

Cut the fish into four portions and put into a greased casserole dish. Season.
Cut the lemon into thin slices and place on top of the fish. Add the butter, cut in pieces and bake, covered, at 180C/350F/gas mark 4 for 30 minutes. Drain off the liquid to use as a sauce and serve at once.
