ASPARAGUS WITH VINAIGRETTE DRESSING

4 bunches fresh asparagus
2 tsp salt
1/2 cup olive
or vegetable oil
1/4 cup chopped parsley
2 hard-boiled eggs
chopped finely
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tbsp green pepper -- chopped
1 tbsp chopped chives
pepper and paprika to taste

1. Cook the asparagus, drain and chill.
2. Mix all the remaining ingredients and beat with a rotary beater. Chill.
3. Pour sauce over the asparagus and serve.
