SESAME MARINADE AND DRESSING

3 tbsp dry sherry
3 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp rice wine vinegar
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1/2 tsp grated ginger root
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp green onion -- chopped
1 tbsp splenda

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Combine dry sherry, soy sauce, wine vinegar, hoisin sauce and ginger; mix well. Reserve 1/3 cup sherry mixture for marinade in Japanese Steak Salad. To prepare dressing, combine remaining sherry mixture with water, green onion, splenda and sesame oil; mix well.

For dressing, servings are per 12 - 1 tablespoon portions. For marinade, servings are per 5 tablespoon portions.
