ITALIAN STYLE ASPARAGUS

1 cl garlic -- peeled
1 lb fresh asparagus -- up to 18 oz
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 green pepper
1/2 red pepper
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 tsp salt
pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated swiss cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese -- or to taste

Wash asparagus and snap off tough end. Cut stalks in 1/2-inch 12mm slices on the diagonal.
Leave the tips whole. Steam the asparagus on rack in shallow pan over a small amount of boiling water, 6-8 minutes. Meanwhile saute green pepper, red pepper and mushrooms in oil until tender. Mix noodles with sauteed vegetables, steamed asparagus, seasonings and cheeses. Serve immediately.
