1 med onion -- cut into rings
1 stalk celery -- sliced
1 large carrots
cut into 2"-5cm strips
1 tsp salt -- optional
2 tsp dried savory
1/8 tsp pepper
1 cup water
In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
Remove with a slotted spoon to a serving bowl.
