ASPARAGUS IN LEMON BUTTER

1 lb asparagus spears -- 500g
1/4 cup butter -- melted
1/2 tsp lemon zest
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Cut asparagus into pieces about 1 1/2 inches 35mm long. Simmer asparagus in water, just enough to cover, for about 6 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain. In saucepan combine all ingredients. Cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring to blend. Serve warm.
