RABBIT SOUP

1 rabbit -- jointed
2 lg onions
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tbsp mixed herbs
1/4 cup butter
2 tbsp soy flour -- or isolate
1 1/4 qts water
Put the rabbit pieces into a large saucepan and cover with the water. Cut the onions in half and add to the pan with the herbs and salt and pepper. Simmer for 2 hours until the rabbit is tender.
Remove the meat from the bones and put into a blender with the remaining liquid and vegetables from the saucepan. Blend until smooth.
Heat the butter in a saucepan and gradually work in the flour. Mix in the ground cloves and pour in the soup. Simmer until the flour has disappeared and the soup has thickened.
