MINI-MEATBALL AND SPINACH SOUP

1/2 lb lean ground beef -- 250g
1 egg
1/4 tsp salt
1 dash pepper
5 tsp chicken bouillon granules
4 cups water
2 cups fresh spinach -- coarsely shredded
In medium bowl, combine meat, egg, salt and pepper, and mix well.
On waxed paper, by scant half-teaspoonfuls, form meat mixture into small balls.
Set aside.
In 3-quart 3 litre saucepan, combine bouillon and water; heat to boiling.
Add meatballs and cook for 8 to 10 minutes; add spinach and cook 3 minutes longer.
