MEATBALL SOUP

Meatballs:
3 lb ground beef -- 1.5 k
(or 1/2 ground pork, 1/2 ground beef)
1/2 can stewed tomatoes -- mexican
2 eggs
1 cl garlic -- minced
1 tbsp oregano
salt and pepper to taste
Soup:
olive oil
1 cl garlic -- sliced
1/2 sm onion -- chopped
1 can stewed tomatoes -- mexican
salt and pepper to taste

Mix all meatball ingredients together and form into 2" - 50mm or 3" - 75mm meatballs. Set aside. Fry onions and garlic in olive oil. Add tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Set aside. Fill Crockpot 2/3 of the way with water. Add tomato mixture and stir. Add meatballs and cover. Cook on high for 4-6 hours. Do not stir.
