AUSTRIAN FISH SOUP

18 oz fish fillets -- 510g white skinned
1 1/2 quarts water -- (1 litre 700 ml)
salt and pepper to taste
1 lemon
1/2 lb onion -- (230g) chopped
2 cl garlic -- crushed
3 oz chopped peppers -- 80gr
3 oz tomato -- 800gr
2 tsp worcestershire sauce -- to taste
4 oz shrimp -- 125gr prawns
2 oz mussels -- 125gr cooked
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Place fish in 4 pint 2 litre saucepan, cover with water, add salt and pepper to taste and lemon cut in slices. Bring to boil and simmer until fish flakes easily with fork.
Lift fish out and remove any bones. flake fish, strain stock and return to pan. Add onion, garlic, green pepper, tomato, worcester sauce and fish and cook for 30 minutes.
Add shellfish and cook for a further 5 minutes. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
Divide into 4 equal portions.
