24 Freshly shucked oysters
200 milliliters Dry white wine -- 5.5fl oz
50 milliliters Olive oil -- 1.5 fl oz
50 milliliters Fresh lemon juice -- 1.5 fl oz
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp White pepper
1/4 tsp Dried thyme
1/4 tsp Dried chervil
1 tsp Chopped fresh parsley
1 Garlic clove -- crushed
Place all ingredients in stainless steel saucepan. Bring to a boil over moderate heat. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature. Remove crushed garlic clove before serving. Serves four as a first course, two as a light entree.
