1 1/2 lb fish fillets
lemon sole sea bass halibutor other firm
white fish
1 cup lime juice
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup minced onion
2 tbsp green chiles -- minced
1/4 cup minced parsley
1 cl garlic -- minced
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 dash Tabasco sauce
1 tsp fresh cilantro
or Chinese parsley -- chopped
This recipe for pickled raw fish comes from Mexico.
Cut fish in thin strips. Cover with lime juice. Chill 4 hours. Drain. Blend remaining ingredients, except cilantro. Toss with fish strips. Chill. Serve with chopped cilantro as garnish.
