GRILLED ALASKA HALIBUT WITH MEDITERRANEAN SALSA

4 halibut steaks -- 8 oz - 240g ea
1 1/2 cups tomato -- chopped
1/4 cup feta cheese -- crumbled
1/4 cup green onion -- chopped
1/4 cup olive -- chopped
1 garlic clove -- minced
1 tbsp capers
1/4 tsp dried thyme
black pepper -- to taste
Place halibut steaks on well-oiled grill over hot coals.
Grill 10 minutes per inch - mm of thickness, measured at thickest part, or until fish just flakes when tested with a fork. Turn steaks once or twice during grilling.
Combine remaining ingredients to make salsa; mix well.
Serve with halibut.
