SCOTT'S TERIYAKI SAUCE

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 2/3 cups soy sauce
1/3 cup olive oil
1 cup splenda
1 cl garlic -- chopped
1 2 inch piece ginger -- - 2" 50mm fresh
3 green onions -- chopped
1/4 cup brown sugar twin
sub. a sm amount of molasses

-Combine all ingredients in a medium size pot.
-Bring to a boil then simmer for 30 minutes.
-Let cool, then strain through a sieve or cheese cloth.
-Use as a marinade or just to brush on while grilling.
-Makes approximately 2 cups: Brush this sauce on as a glaze rather than a marinade.
