BACALL'S CHICKEN SALAD

1 lb skinless boneless chicken breast -- 500gr
1 rib celery -- finely diced
1 cup sliced green onions
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup chopped pecans
salt and pepper to taste
mayonnaise

Poach chicken in simmering water until no pink remains. Remove chicken and refrigerate until completely chilled. Dice chicken and place in large bowl.
Add remaining ingredients except mayonnaise, and stir to blend. Add mayonnaise a little at a time, until salad holds together and is moist.
Refrigerate until serving time.
