BEEF CRUST PIZZA

1 lb extra lean ground beef
2/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
pizza toppings of your choice:
pepperoni slices
artichoke hearts
broccoli
chopped chicken
cooked Italian sausage
1/2 cup pasta sauce -- no sugar added

Spread the ground beef in a pie dish and press it firmly, molding it to the sides and bottom of the dish. Bake it at 400°F-200°C for 15 minutes or until browned. Be sure that it is fully cooked. Remove the dish from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes. Drain very well but very carefully using paper towelling.
On top of the meat, layer the mozzarella cheese, the pasta sauce, and the other fillings. Put another thin layer of cheese on top. Bake at 425°F-220°C for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
