SAUCY SWEET-SOUR SPARERIBS

4 lb meaty pork spareribs -- 2kg
1 onion -- thinly sliced
1 cl garlic -- crushed
1/3 cup vinegar
1/4 cup tomato sauce
1 tsp prepared mustard
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
6 drops hot pepper sauce
2 tbsp honey
1/4 cup soy sauce

Place ribs in shallow baking pan. Place onions over ribs. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Bake at 300°F-150°C 1-1/2 hours. Baste frequently.
