PORK SPARERIBS AND CARAWAY CABBAGE

12 pork spareribs -- rind removed
2 tbsp brown sugar twin -- or 1 tbsp molasses
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cabbage -- white coarsely shred
3/4 cup white wine
3 tbsp water
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 pinch pepper
1 tsp caraway seed

Melt the brown sugar twin in a large pot . Add butter and mix well. Add cabbage, pork spareribs, wine, water, vinegar, salt, pepper and caraway seeds.
Cover with a lid and cook over a low heat for 30 minutes, stirring regularly. Place into a casserole dish and cook in a 325°F-160°C preheated oven and braise for 11/2~2 hours. Serve with boiled, new, parsley potatoes.
