ITALIAN STYLE PORK CHOPS

8 pork chops
salt
pepper
1 tsp Italian herbs
2 tbsp butter
1 cl garlic -- minced
1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
1 tbsp lemon juice

Sprinkle pork chops with salt, pepper and Italian herbs. Place chops in
heavy skillet. Brown well in heated butter on both sides, about 5 minutes
on each side. Add garlic. Add tomatoes with liquid and lemon juice.
Cover, simmer gently for 30 to 40 minutes or until chops are no longer
pink in the center and are cooked and tender.
