PORK CHOPS AND CABBAGETTI

1 tbsp bacon fat
4 lg pork center loin chops
2 tbsp chopped onion
1 cl garlic -- minced
3/4 cup spaghetti sauce -- Traditional Ragu
4 cups shredded cabbage
1 tbsp heavy cream
Melt bacon fat in skillet; add pork chops and brown on both sides over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until onion is transparent. Add about 1/2 cup water, cover skillet and turn heat to simmer. Continue to
cook about 20 minutes; Stir in spaghetti sauce and simmer until meat is done.
Meanwhile, put cabbage in saucepan and add enough water to cover it about halfway. Add cream and stir. Cook cabbage over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until soft. Drain well; add to meat and spaghetti sauce in
skillet. Remove pork chops; stir cabbage to coat with spaghetti sauce before serving.
