18 lb lamb -- in one piece 9k
_RUB-
3 lemons -- juiced
1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp salt
1/4 cup oregano -- dried
1 cup olive oil
1 cup butter -- melted

Lamb on the spit. Clean lamb. Mix RUB ingredients and rub three quarters of the mix well into lamb. Sew tie carcass and tie legs. Rub remaining RUB over outside of carcass. Retain a little for basting. Add more oilve oil if needed.
BBQ/ELECTRIC ELEMENT. Fire charcoalnd let fire die down. Turn slowly for first hour and speed up progressively for the next 2-4 hours. If the carcass appears to burn speed up the rotation. If you have a wide gas BBQ you can cook as per WEBBER, low heat and lid down, turning the lamb over every 10-15 minutes. Don't forget to baste regualarily. Time for all methods 3-5 hours.
Serve with lots of greek style salad, low carb pizza bases and Atkins rolls.
