BBQ SPICY LAMB

1 1/2 kg leg of lamb
- marinade -
2 cl garlic -- crushed
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp garam masala -- Indian spice
1 tsp cumin seed
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp salt and fresh ground black pepper

Place lamb in covered bowl. Combine marinade ingredients and rub well into leg of lamb. Marinate 1 or 2 days , turning and rubbing lamb occasionally. Reserve marinade. Remove leg and BBQ or Webber cook according to manufacturers recommendations. For about 1 1/2 hours. To oven bake.Place on raised grill. Put a cup of water in tray. Cook at 3500F-1800C for 1 1/2 hours. Collect juices from pan and combine with marinade in a pan. Heat and serve over sliced lamb. Cut one or two lemons into quarters and serve with sliced lamb.
