1 1/4 cups salad oil
3/4 cup soy sauce
2 1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1 tsp crushed garlic
3/4 cup worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp dry mustard
1 tbsp fresh ground black pepper
1 tsp dried parsley flakes
1/4 cup lemon juice
Prepare this marinate at least 6 hours in advance of use and always marinate meat for 6 -8 hours or overnight. Baste during the grilling/smoking process.
Mop it on before serving. Use is on London Broil (cut 2 to 2 1/2" 50-65mm thick, grilled to very rare) or grilled/ smoked chickens.
