OMLETTE BASIC AND FRENCH WITH VARIATIONS

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 tbsp butter
4 eggs
1 tbsp heavy cream
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
pepper

Melt butter in a non-stick pan, spreading it over whole surface. Break eggs into small bowl add other ingredients and whisk until nice and frothy. Pour half mixture into the pan and spread to edges. Cook over low to medium heat. With a spatula loosen eggs from side of pan as they start to set. Add fillings at this stage. Swirl uncooked mixture through fillings and continue cooking. When firm fold in half. Cook a further minute. Slide onto warm plate. Repeat for rest of the mixture.

Basic French Omelette
Replace 4 eggs with six egg whites. Prepare and cook as Basic Omlette.

Herb Omelette
To either Omelette mix add 1 tbsp of your preferred herbs.

Bacon and Onion Omelette
Finely chop and cook 1 slice of bacon. Add with 1 tbsp of finely chopped scallions to to either Omelette mix. Cook per instructions.

Ham, Pepper and Parsley Omelette
Finely chop 2 tbsp cooked ham, 2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum ( bell pepper ) . Add with 1 tbsp of finely chopped parsley to to either Omelette mix. Cook per instructions.
2 Serves 3.0 carbs, 0.4 fibre, 13.6 protein. per serve

Salami and Cheese Omelette
Finely chop 4 slices of salami. Add to either Omelette mix. Cook per instructions. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over Omlette
2 Serves 2.3 carbs, 0.0 fibre, 18.5 protein. per serve

Roast Pepper andOlive Omelette
Finely chop and sautre 4 tbsp capsicum ( bell pepper ) . Add with 4 finely chopped olives to either Omelette mix. Cook per instructions.
2 Serves 3.0 carbs, 0.4 fibre, 13.6 protein. per serve

Tomato and Onion Omelette
De seed and finely chop half of a tomato . Add with 1 tbsp of finely chopped scallions to to either Omelette mix. Cook per instructions.
2 Serves 2.1 carbs, 0.2 fibre, 12.9 protein. per serve

Spanish Omelette
Finely chop 1 tbsp each corn, carrot, Zucchini, capsicum or any other left over veggie or salad ingredient to to either Omelette mix. Cook per instructions.
2 Serves 3.0 carbs, 0.3 fibre, 13.1 protein. per serve

Mexican Omelette
Add a small tin of corn and 1 pinch of chili powder to to either Omelette mix. Cook per instructions.
