BOILED EGG

1 tsp salt
1 tbsp vinegar
4 eggs

Bring a small saucepan of water to the boil; add a teaspoon of salt and a tablespoon of vinegar as this will stop the white from escaping if the egg shells crack. You can also pierce the end of th egg with a pin.
Do not use eggs straight from the refrigerator as these will crack if plunged directly into boiling water. Take eggs at room temperature and gently lower on a large spoon into the boiling water.
Allow eggs to simmer gently for 3-5 minutes according to taste.
Remove from pan and serve immediately with salt and pepper and fingers of hot buttered LC toast.
