Dessert Cheesecake Baked

- BASE-
1/3 cup butter -- (room temp)
1/3 cup brown sugar Twin
I used regular Splenda with a dollop of
molasses
1 cup Almond meal -- flour
1/2 cup walnuts -- finely chopped
TOPPING
1/4 cup Splenda
8 oz cream cheese -- (250g) (room temp)
1 egg
2 tbsp half and half -- 50% cream/water
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Cream butter with brown sugar in a small mixing bowl.
Add flour and walnuts; blend together.
Mixture will be crumbly.
Reserve one cup for topping.
Press remainder of mixture into the bottom of an 8x 8" 200x200mm baking pan.
Bake at 350°F-175°C for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Blend splenda with cream cheese until smooth.
Add egg, half and half, lemon juice and vanilla; beat well.
Spread over baked crust and sprinkle with reserved topping.
Bake for 15 minutes.Cool.
Cut into 12 2" - 50mm squares.
