1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 cup splenda
2 eggs
2/3 cup almond meal
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 unsweetened baking chocolate squares
melted and
cooled

Preheat oven to 350°F-180°C.
Grease 8" 220mm baking pan.
Cream butter.
Add Splenda; beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat until mixture is smooth.
Sift flour and salt and gradually add to creamed mixture.
Stir in nuts and vanilla. Pour 1/2 the batter into pan.
Mix chocolate with other 1/2 of the batter; pour over plain batter.
Swirl through with spoon.
Bake about 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool; mark into 12 squares or 24 bars. Cut when cold.
