RANI'S PARTY CHEESE BALL

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz cream cheese -- 250g
4 slices bacon -- cooked and
crumbled, save the bacon grease
2 tbsp cream
1 tbsp finely chopped green onions
2 tbsp peppers -- chopped red -green
1 tsp liquid smoke flavoring
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Let cheese and cream cheese soften at room temperature.
Mix together all ingredients except for the pecans.
You can use a mixer or food processor for this, which will give you a smooth
texture, or mix by hand for a coarser texture.
Let the mixture chill overnight or longer for flavors to blend.
To serve, shape into a ball and roll it in the chopped pecans.
Makes about 3 1/2 cups
