Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 lb cheddar cheese -- grated
1 lb colby cheese -- grated
8 oz cream cheese -- softened
2 tbsp sour cream
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp chopped green onions
1 cup pecans -- finely crushed
-Mix the two grated cheeses with the softened cream cheese.
-Add the seasonings andthe green onions{optional}
-Form into a log and roll in the crushed pecans{or walnuts}
-Wrap log tightly in plastic wrap and chill well.
-To serve cut into thin slices{about 1 tbsp. each}
