2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz cream cheese -- 250gr
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp cream
1 tbsp finely chopped green onions
1 tbsp diced red pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 dash hot pepper sauce
1/3 cup snipped parsley or finely chopped walnuts -- (1/3 to 1/2)
or pecans
Bring cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and butter to room temperature.
Add cream, onion, pimento, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce. Beat till combined. Cover and chill for 4 to 24 hours. To serve, shape mixture
into a ball. Roll in parsley or nuts. Let stand 15 minutes. Garnish with pimento strips, if desired.
Makes about 3 1/2 cups
