BAKED BRIE WITH BRANDIED MUSHROOMS

1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp slivered almonds
1 cup fresh mushrooms -- chopped
2 cl garlic -- minced
1 tbsp brandy
1/4 tsp dried tarragon
1/8 tsp pepper
8 oz Brie -- round

-Heat oven to 375°F-190°C
-Melt butter in a medium sized skillet over medium high heat.
-Add almonds, cook stir 2-3 minutes or until browned.
-Stir in chopped mushrroms,garlic, brandy, tarragon pepper.
-Cook stir 1-2 minutes or until mushrooms are tender;remove from heat.
-Place the cheese round in a decorative, shallow baking dish or an 8" pie plate;spoon mushroom mixture over top.
-Bake at 375°F-190°Cfor 10-12 minutes or until cheese is soft.
-Serve as a dip or spread on branacrisps or other low carb crackers.
