STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI SORBET

4 cups fresh strawberries -- rinsed and hulled
1 cup splenda
2 tbsp light rum
1 1/2 tbsp fresh lime juice
In a food processor or blender, puree the strawberries until smooth. Strain to remove the seeds, if desired.
Transfer the puree to a medium bowl and add the splenda, rum and lime juice. Whisk to blend well. Cover and refrigerate until very cold, at least 2 hours or as long as 3 days.
Whisk the mixture to blend and pour into the caister of an ice cream maker. Freeze according to the manufacturer's directions. Transfer to a covered container and freeze until firm, at least 1 hour or as long as 3 days.
Description: "Be sure to taste fresh strawberries before using them. If very sweet, reduce the splenda in this recipe by 2 TBSP"
