SPICED INDIAN TEA

2 tbsp tea -- dark leaves
8 cardamom -- pods
1 pinch cinnamon
4 whole clove
1 1/4 qts water -- 1.5 litres
Honey or milk to taste
Teas such as Darjeeling, Assam, or Ceylon can be used. Warm the teapot with boiling water, empty and place in it the tea and spices. Bring the 5 cups of water to a boil and pour into the teapot. Let steep 5 minutes, stir, and serve, adding honey and milk to taste. Server 4-6
